Kendal Jazz Club 2006 Events

Wednesday 8th March - Featuring Steve Andrews (clarinet, saxophones), Roly Veitch (swing guitar, vocals in a Chet Bakerish style) and our very own Roy Cansdale (bass). A reprise of an exciting performance at Darlington Jazz Club last September. All tickets £6 at the door.

Wednesday 12th April - Features the virtuoso clarinettist Dave Lee (from Thornton Cleveleys) accompanied by the David Frew Trio (piano, bass and drums) - All tickets £6 at the door.

Wednesday May 10th - "Swing de Paris" - "Gypsy Jazz in the Hot Club style"  Fresh from Keswick Jazz Festival.  £6 

Wednesday 14th June - "Something Cool" featuring Paul Palmer (much acclaimed local tenor and soprano saxophonist), Richard Page (guitar) and Roy Cansdale (bass)  £6

Wednesday 28th June - Extra Special Event - Hanna Richardson, Phil Flanigan & Chris Flory (as part of their UK tour) All tickets £10.

 
Wednesday 12th July - Dave Savill & Friends. Dixieland & Swing fom our favourite Cornet Virtuoso. £6 

 
  Wednesday 9th August - Brian Judge & the Dave Frew Trio. Jazz standards and classics from a master of the trumpet and flugelhorn. Featuring a special guest!  £6

Wednesday 13th September - The Rhythm Racketeers.  Bruce Carnaffin ~ Clarinet,  Peter Boswell ~ Cornet,  Peter Laurence ~ Guitar,  Roy Edwards ~ Bass All tickets £6 at the door.
